Regular Events

Here are the regular events which we run/are involved in

The South Hunsley School Christian Union meets on a Wednesday after school and is for all students who attend the school and sixth form. The CU gets around 15 regular attendants and is run by Mark Tiddy and PE teacher Miss Lyden. The Christian Union covers a range of issues from themes to bible studies and also includes games, food and preparing for assemblies at key points in the Christian calendar such as Christmas and Easter

Drop-In started just before Christmas 2009 as a Wednesday lunchtime club aimed at young people who find school a difficult to be and is a club that includes a Nintendo Wii, Hot Chocolate and an array or card games.

Drop-In is part of South Hunsley’s Anti-Bullying programme and as part of this Mark supports them by running the drop in on 1 day a week during a lunchtime in school.

SPARK is a monthly inter-church youth service happening on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 7:30pm until 9:30pm. SPARK travels around churches and has a variety of guest speakers so for more info click here to go to the SPARK website

A typical SPARK includes worship, a guest speaker, chill-out time with tuck shop, games and a Nintendo Wii plus more!
