About Us

The Hunsley Christian Youth Trust is a Scripture Union Associate trust based in the Hunsley area of East Yorkshire and is committed to working with young people in local schools and churches promoting a Christian message through a wide range of constantly evolving initiatives.

The Hunsley Christian Youth Trust was formed in February 2009 and is currently funded by the parishes of Elloughton and Brough with Brantingham, Swanland, North Ferriby and South Cave who have each nominated a director for the trust who oversee the work and management of the trust.

The schools work done by HCYT is primarily within South Hunsley School and also with the feeder schools for South Hunsley.

The Hunsley Christian Youth Trust aims to be:

A positive and consistent Christian influence in schools

Be involved in and supportive of the school community in appropriate ways

To take part in lessons, assemblies and Christian group meetings

To help Christian groups, growing leaders, establishing aims and resourcing

To develop ways of linking schools and churches

Hunsley Christian Youth Trust subscribes to the Scripture Union Statement of Faith
